Why we verify
Federal and state laws require age checks on restricted items. We work with AgeVerification.net to ensure orders are completed legally and safely.
When it happens
- Immediately after checkout, if your order includes age-restricted products.
- Before shipment — orders are placed on hold until you complete verification.
- At delivery, carriers may require an Adult Signature (21+) with government ID.
What you’ll need
- A quick confirmation through AgeVerification.net, usually requiring date of birth.
- If additional proof is needed, a secure upload of a government-issued photo ID may be requested.
- At delivery, the carrier may request to see a valid government ID for Adult Signature shipments.
How it works
- Step 1: Place your order.
- Step 2: Complete the AgeVerification.net prompt after checkout.
- Step 3: Once approved, your order is released for shipping.
Privacy & security
- AgeVerification.net performs the checks — Ripkitty receives only a pass/fail result.
- We do not store your ID images if uploaded. All sensitive data is handled by the verification service.
- Information is used solely for compliance with age-verification laws.
If verification fails
- Your order cannot ship until verification succeeds.
- You may be given another chance to complete verification.
- If unsuccessful, the order may be cancelled per our terms.
Restrictions
- Some destinations may require Adult Signature regardless of product type.
- We do not ship to areas where sales are prohibited by law.
